About Me

I’m Danielle, a professional artist and art tutor working from my home studio in the Suffolk countryside. After completing a degree in Interior Design and spending some time working in the industry, I decided to return to my original passion, art, which has been a lifelong love of mine.

Over the past 10 years, I’ve explored a wide variety of styles and mediums, allowing my work to continually evolve. To date, I’ve sold over 100 original artworks, many of which have been custom pet portraits, alongside paintings inspired by wildlife, nature, people, food, interiors and abstract subjects. I approach every piece with care and attention to detail, with a particular focus on capturing the character and personality of my subject.

More recently, I’ve been focused on developing my own distinctive style, heavily inspired by nature. I’m drawn to bold, vibrant colours, particularly greens and yellows, and enjoy combining elements of realism with abstraction. Through loose, expressive marks, layered tones and energetic brushwork, I aim to create charming, contemporary artwork that feels lively and full of character.

Alongside my own art practice, I have a genuine passion for teaching and encouraging others to explore their creativity. This began during my time as an art teacher at Art-K, where I worked with children, teenagers and adults. I now run my own painting workshops, with my Paint & Sip and Paint Your Pet classes proving particularly popular.

My aim, whether I’m creating an original artwork or teaching a class, is to make art enjoyable, accessible and something that brings people joy.
