About Me
I’m Danielle, a self-taught artist working from my home studio based in the beautiful Suffolk countryside. Art has been a lifelong passion of mine, and over the years, I’ve explored a wide variety of styles and mediums.

So far, I’ve had the joy of selling 96 original pieces — many of them being custom pet portraits, but also paintings of wildlife, nature, people, food, interiors and abstract works. Each piece is created with care and attention to detail, capturing the character or spirit of the subject.

More recently, I’ve been developing my signature style, which is strongly inspired by nature. I often work from photographs I’ve taken on walks or when I see something that sparks my imagination. Bold colours — especially greens, blues, and yellows — feature heavily in my work, where I enjoy blending elements of realism with abstraction.

I love experimenting with different mediums, from watercolour, acrylic, and oil paint to oil pastels, metallics, and paint pens, layering them to create textures, striking contrasts, and bold, expressive marks.

Alongside my art practice. I have a real passion for teaching art. This began during my time as an assistant art teacher at Art-K, where I worked with children (aged 6+), teenagers, and adults. Since then, I’ve gone on to run my own adult workshops, with my “Paint Your Pet” class proving especially popular.

I’m also excited to have recently taken on a new role with the Eastern Education Group, leading a 10-week painting course for adults — an opportunity that allows me to share my love of creativity and inspire others to grow in confidence with their art.
